too good to be bad?

I received this book for an honest review.
Olivia is a good girl who is working for her step father's company the summer before heading off to college. Figuring she's getting a head start on others with an internship pre-college she's excited that is until she finds out who her boss will be. Kaleb is a womanizing bad boy tasked with a project as a way to show is father he can one day take over the company, the issue is he's not sure he ever wants to run the company. What he is sure of is he does want the hot little intern his father assigned him, the only issue? She's his step sister....
This was a fun quick little read. I enjoyed Kaleb attitude and controlling personality and Olivia is sweet and endearing. My criticisms is that there are editing issues and that the flow between some of the scenes was a little rough. This is not a standalone and is part one in a series.

This was a sexy, hot story - especially if you like those of the step-sibling variety. They are not my favorite stories but this one was pretty good overall. This is part one of a series so you will need to read more to get the whole story.

Quick story

Wasn't to bad but it did seam to stop in a few places but other then that it was a good short part 1. Olivia worked her whole life to get into Yale but when the letter came she felt her whole life went down the drain, until her stepmother came and comfort her on her misery. Caleb is you typical bad boy/jock but being a son of a multi millionaire and the heir to the fortune and business he didn't want anything but the money. When his sister needs a comforting hand he didn't expect the response that he got from his body or the thoughts that starting to spring up. Olivia and Kaleb will discover their true feelings towards one another.

They should never stop publishing this book!!!

This is an excellent book for the first time physics student. It is very "straight to the point" when it comes to explaining physics concepts. This book does not waste time talking about senseless theroy that gets you no where. It tells the concepts of physics clearly and it has EXCELLENT examples to illustrate the concepts that it tries to explain. It has plenty of clear and concise examples. It probably has at least 12 to 15 examples per chapter witch is VERY excellent!!!!
Additionally, this book comes with a GREAT student solutions\help manual. The student solutions\help manual helps explain the concepts even more clearly thus giving you a better understanding of such a difficult subject.
I've seen this book has been around for a long time. I can see why this textbook has been around for a long time because of its superiour quality. I hope this book is still around for students in the future 50 years from now.

Not sure if the positive reviewers actually used this textbook

This is one of the worst textbooks I have ever used. If you're looking for a textbook that gives you a thorough explanation of a concept with multiple, well thought out and dissected examples, this isn't the book for you. Typically, the book will spend about half a page on a concept, include 1 or two poorly explained examples, and move on. This method works fine for the first couple of chapters because most people can reason their way through those problems using their own experiences, but once you move on to more complicated subjects the book really shows just how poor of an instruction method it is. There are end of chapter problems, but none of them are explained and many of them are nothing like the examples shown in the respective chapter. And, to top it off, enough of the solutions in the back of the book are incorrect that after finishing the practice problems you won't know if you've misunderstood the material or the book is just wrong.

Physics can be a tough subject for many students, and given the outdated formatting of this book, the incorrect answers in the back, and the overall poor presentation of material, I will not be using it again for my classes

En excellent book for the science-interested student

This book gives a very thorough explanation of most of the things that surrounds us. It is very easy to understand due to the many examples, and yet manages to maintain very cogent. It does not require much math read this book, since this is explained as the book moves along, and is needed.

An Excellent Guide

I am in no way trying to be a body builder or to be extremely cut or ripped but I wanted practical excercises that would help me tone/build muscle. I believe this book is ideal. While the excercises are not difficult they are a little on the challenging side especially if you are a sedentary beginner. Therefore, I suggest starting off with lighter weights and then as your strength and endurance grows increase the weights.

I just got this book in August but since I added weight training to my routine I am seeing more results. In his book Lee suggests cardio once a week. I do a cardio routine for 20 to 30 minutes after after weight training because while I'm trying to tone/build I want to loose fat and cardio is another important method of fat loss. So that's what I do for myself

I also like the nutritional tips and suggestions provided. However, I have a much better book on the nutrition that I got from Amazon for $11. If excercise and nutrition is important to you then this book and Dr. Jamie McManus' Guide to Wellness book should be in your library.

Everyone is a little different and some of these things won't work the same for everyone but ultimately you will see results. Buy the book. It's worth it.

Great book

Lee Labrada is great. I've read many of his books and they are very informative. I used his other book, 'get lean' to prepare for my first bodybuilding contest and won 1st in my weight class, and second overall. He clearly knows what he is talking about. I'd highly recommend any of his books.

just received this for Christmas, and as a die hard fan of The Cure's since '88 - this was quite the treat. Having seen Andy Vella (and Parched Art) all over the Cure's artwork for so many albums, it was great to see inside the artistic process and private vaults of the artist. I love this book!

It worth very much the investment - I've not finished yet but so far it's a very nice reading, along with useful links. I'm that kind of user that reads all the equipment manuals before using it. As I'm new in DSLR cameras I've found the original manual a little bit complicated - My issues were related to 'how to?' or 'why this instead of that?' or even 'what is it for?'... After reading the Nikon D5500 Experience and trying to practice all the functions in paralel, I'd like to say now I'm relatively comfortable and I have a good notion of all functions; at least in theory - now I have a lot of practice to improve my skills! I recomend.

Great Resource for the Nikon D5500

This book has been an excellent resource. It has brought the learning curve down to where I am having very a positive experience with my Nikon D5500. The book is written much better and give much more information about the camera than the manual. Excellent book for a beginner or one like me that has been out of the hobby since the late 70s. Money well spend!!! If you want or need more in depth information on your Nikon D5500, this book will do it for you.

Still reading this book but I can say it's outstanding so far and will always be a good reference source later on. If you own a D5500 I highly recommend this it well worth the money. This book explains all the D5500 and it's functions in great details, more thorough than the manual. And if you're new to digital photography he explains the difference between the old 35mm format and the new digital era of photography.
